Adult Comics Evening Workshop - Wednesday 23rd September at 7pm

With 20 years' experience animating, writing, directing and voicing characters on world-class TV shows (including Peppa Pig, Charlie and Lola and Mr Bean), Dan's passion is making comics, and helping other people make them too.

The evening starts with Dan drawing a live comic, using a range of techniques for generating characters, locations and ideas, including suggestions shouted out by the group. Then it's your turn: participants make their own comic, with Dan on hand for guidance, drawing tips, and a steady stream of dumb jokes.

It's a fun, low-stakes, small-group session that's all about getting ideas out of your head and onto the page. No special talent required, just a willingness to have a go.

Expect a relaxed, sociable evening in good company, and leave with renewed inspiration, more confidence in your drawing, and a comic you made entirely yourself. All materials supplied.
